84-year-old Albion resident Dolores Nettleton passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at her residence. Dolores was born at Mt. Erie, Illinois on August 25, 1937 to Harold Dean and Stella Genelle (Penrod) Harris. Dolores married William Edward Nettleton on April 12, 1954 in Shawneetown, Illinois.
Dolores was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints of Olney, Illinois. She enjoyed genealogy and attending her church temple.
Dolores was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Left to cherish her memories, include her devoted husband, William Edward, sons, Randy (Mary) Nettleton of California, Cookie (Lori) Nettleton of Fairfield. Daughters included, Glenna (Marvin) Carter of West Salem and Denise (Dink) Goble of Albion. A daughter in law – Patty Nettleton of Olney, Illinois. One brother Jimmie (Sue) Harris of Daytona Beach, Florida. 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers Donnie Harris, Archie and Lynn Roy Nettleton, children; Scott and Leisa Davis
Graveside services for Dolores Nettleton will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2021 Little Wabash Zion Cemetery (Southwest of West Salem). There will be no visitation. Please go directly to the cemetery. Memorials can be made to your local pantry or Carle Hospice. Nale’s Funeral Home of Albion is in charge of arrangements.
