Janice Kay Hoebbel, 78, of Cisne, Illinois passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
Janice was born August 13, 1943, to Glen and Maxine (Grinestaff) Taylor at Cincinnati, Ohio. She married Kenneth Hoebbel December 22, 1978, in Springfield, Illinois. He preceded her in death on July 30, 2019.
Janice was a Real Estate Agent and a Loan Originator. She was a member of the Mt. Erie Christian Church and previously was a member of Elm Street Christian Church, in Springfield, Illinois.
Janice is survived by three sons JR Martin of Kincaid, Illinois, Kenneth Hoebbel Jr. of Olney, Illinois, Tom (Lisa) Hoebbel of N. Aurora, Illinois; three daughters Kimberly (Louis) Bratton of Mattoon, Illinois, Barbara Scoles of Olney, Illinois, Lori Price of Decatur, Illinois; one sister Judy (Carroll) Beckel of Cisne, Illinois; two brothers Larry (Diane) Taylor of Fairfield, Illinois, Kurt (Sherrie) Taylor of Mr. Erie, Illinois; one brother-in-law Jerald Hubble of Mt. Erie, Illinois; Five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth, one sister Barbara and one grandson Shawn Scoles.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 3pm at the Mt. Erie Christian Church. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 2-3pm at the church.
Memorials may be given to Mt. Erie Christian Church and will be accepted the day of the service or at the funeral home.
