Rodney J. Kunce, 67 of Fairfield passed away at 11:55PM on Monday January 24, 2022, at Aperion Care in Fairfield. He was a contractor for over 30 years. Rodney was born in Wayne County on May 8, 1954, to James and Carmon (Skinner) Kunce. He married Beki Stennett on August 1, 1975.
Rodney is survived by his mother- Carmon Kunce of Fairfield; wife- Beki Kunce of Fairfield; son- Jeremy (Jamie) Kunce of Fairfield; daughter- Angela (Danny) Easley of Salem; grandchildren- Olivia (Alex) Perrine of Verden IL, Jayda Owens of Salem, Nicholas Kunce and Brenden Kunce both of Fairfield; brother- David Kunce of Fairfield; sisters- Debbie (Alan) Hoskins of Evansville IN, Jill (Mike) Short and Beth (Tom) Meeks both of Fairfield; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Rodney was preceded by his father- James Kunce, paternal grandparents- Joseph and Ellen Shannon Kunce, maternal grandparents- Ellis and Opal Skinner, and a nephew- Cody Kunce.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday January 29, 2022, at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Cumberland Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10AM until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of all the arrangements.
