Lorene Weber, 87 of Fairfield passed away at 12 PM, Friday, September 2, 2022, at Aperion Care Fairfield. Born on December 16, 1934, in Fairfield to Albert and Gladys (Miller) Harrison, she married Samuel Weber on April 17, 1954. She had been a homemaker and babysitter, and longtime member of King’s Chapel Church.
Lorene is survived by her husband of 68 years Sam Weber, daughters Rhonda (Duane) Austin and Misty Crump all of Fairfield, daughter in law Connie Weber of Sims, 6 grandchildren- Erin (Matt) Fields of Wayne City, Lori Austin of Evansville, Morgan Weber of Evansville, Harold Austin of Fairfield, Samantha Weber of Fairfield, and Shannon Gray of Fairfield, 2 special grandsons James (Katherine) Harrison of Newburgh and Justin Revelo of Fairfield, great granddaughter Avery Fields, brother Ray (Sherry) Harrison of Fairfield, and sisters Barbara Pike of Fairfield and Wanda Walters of Sims. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Samuel Gilbert “Gib” Weber, son in law Dwight Crump, sisters Pearl Miller, Marie Dunn, Darlene Smith, and Frances Wimer, and brothers Andy, Raymond, Bud, and Dellos Harrison.
Funeral services for Lorene Weber will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, September 7th at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Memorials in her honor may be made to the Kings Chapel Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
