Deloris R. Medler, 84, of Allendale, IL, formerly of Albion, IL, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Oak View Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Carmel, IL surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fairfield, IL on April 10, 1938, to Cleve and Dortha (Smith) Doty. Deloris married Allan Medler in Albion, IL on July 6, 1956, and he preceded her in death on Feb 12, 2011.
She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dedicated her life to her family. Deloris enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time at Kentucky Lake.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cleve and Dortha (Smith) Doty, her husband Allan Medler, two sisters; Madeline Lewis, Vicki Harris, four brothers; Tony Smith, Russell Doty, Bud Doty, Ronnie Doty, and granddaughter, Amy Adams.
Deloris is survived by her daughter Teresa Medler, two sons; Rick (Regina) Medler, Michael Medler, one sister, Sally Brokaw, two brothers; Gary Doty, Cleve Doty, twelve grandchildren; Nick (Becky) Medler, Josh (Krisie) Medler, Mark (Ashley) Medler, Randy (Stefani) Medler, Allan (Amanda) Medler, Adam Medler, Tesha Weiss, Cori Medler, Presley Bailey, Hunter Keeling, Joleigh Keeling, Lillie Keeling, 15 great-great grandchildren
Visitation: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Friday October 7, 2022, Ingram Meridith Funeral Home, Albion, IL. The family has requested those attending to dress casual.
