Linda D. Knight, 75, of Carmi passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022. She was born in Herald, IL on May 30, 1947 the daughter of Leonard “Bunny” and Daisy (James) O’Neal. Linda married Roy May, Jr. and he preceded her in death on January 11, 1998. She later married Roger Knight in 2000. Linda was a homemaker and attended New Beginning Church of God in Carmi. Linda is survived by her husband of 22 years, Roger; two daughters, Melissa (Seth) King of Kokomo, IN and Ginger Pierce of Evansville, IN; two brothers, David (Pam) O’Neal of Columbia, IL and Kendall (Cindy) O’Neal of Herald; two grandchildren, Joshua and Hannah Pierce. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister. Funeral Services for Linda D. Knight, 75, of Carmi will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at New Beginning Church of God. Burial will follow in Kuykendall Cemetery in Carmi. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at noon at New Beginning Church of God. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s memory to New Beginning Church of God and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
