Centralia Police took a call from an individual Wednesday Evening on West Haven in regards to threatening to shoot himself. The caller disconnected the call initially and then called back, saying that they shot himself. Officers arrived on scene and reported the individual shot himself in the chest. He was taken to an area hospital where he is getting treated for a gunshot wound to the chest. The incident remains under investigation.
