69 year old Fairfield resident, Steven “Beef” Anderson, passed away at his residence on Thursday, April 13, 2023
Steve was born December 26, 1953 to Robert and Billie (Gregg) Anderson in Anna-Jonesboro, Illinois.
He retired from Airtex Products as a truck driver and had previously worked at Wayco Construction.
Steve was a lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. One of his greatest enjoyments was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Steve attended the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and was a Lifetime Member of the V.F.W.
He is survived by his Mother, Billie of Fairfield, IL a Brother, Bobby Anderson of Wayne City, IL, a Sister, Vickie Leonard of Fairfield, IL, 3 Nephews, 1 Niece, 3 Great-Nephews, 2 Great-Nieces and 1 Great-Great Nephew.
Steve was preceded in death by his Father.
Graveside services for Steve Anderson will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Maple Hill Cemetery. Family and Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Wayne County Senior Citizens and will be accepted at Nale’s Funeral Home.
