The Illinois State Police have released patrol data for the month of April.
In Wayne, Effingham White and Marion Counties, ISP Troopers were conducting ACE or Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement Patrols. During their patrols, troopers gave 51 written warnings, issued either 11 citations or arrests. There were a total of 12 issues involving registrations, insurance and drivers licenses with 1 arrest overall for DUI and 2 total for other alcohol or drug violations.
In Effingham and Richland Counties, ISP conducted NITE or Nighttime Enforcement Patrols. Overall 41 written warnings were issued with 7 citations or arrests made. There were 8 issues overall involving registrations, insurance, or drivers license issues.
