Registration Dates Set for Edwards County Schools for 2023-24 School Year

Edwards County Schools have set registration dates for the next school year.

Online registration will begin for Edwards County Schools on Friday, June 14th. In-person registration will be offered in the attendance centers of Edwards County High School a well as Albion and West Salem Grade Schools on Monday, July 24th from 9 am until 1 pm and 2 pm until 7 pm.

Officials with the school have also released book rental feeds for the year. There will be no cost for early childhood students. Those in K-12 will pay $70 in book fees. A Fee for industrial arts students is $25 with a $20 technology fee for students in 6th thru 12th grades. Drivers’ Education at the High School will be $100. The athletic participation fee is $100 per athlete with a family maximum of $300.

In the lunchroom, prices for lunch for Kindergarten thru 5th Grade lunches will be $2.95. Students in grades 6-2 will be charged $3.20 for lunch. Those on reduced lunch will pay 40 cents while Adults will pay $3.70 for lunch. For breakfast, K-12 students will pay $1.30 for breakfast while those on reduced breakfast will pay $0.30. Finally, Milk will remain at 35 cents.

The Athletic Admissions fees will be as follows; $2 for students, $4 for adults and senior citizens.

In order to register for items in the school district, you must show proof of residency in the district, new students must also have a birth certificate or some form of government ID. Names and telephone numbers of contact people in case of an emergency are required in the event a parent cannot be contacted. Finally, insurance is a requirement for participation in school sanctions sports, activities, auto, industrial arts, and ag classes.
