The Fairfield Water Department has advised the following areas are under a boil order:
East Douglas Street from 1st Street to SE 6th Street
SE 6th Street from East Center Street to East Douglas Street.
This order is in addition to the order on Delaware Street from Airport Road to T-Mobile that excludes Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Church of Christ
Officials say to boil any water used for consumption. The order will be lifted once samples have passed testing.
