High School Volleyball Regional Action from Tuesday

High School Volleyball Regional Action continued Tuesday Night.

At the 2A Regional at Hamilton County, Fairfield knocked off Teutopolis. Set scores were 25-8, 26-13. In the win, Emersyn Robbins moved into 2nd all time in IHSA History for career kills. Robbins currently sits at 1819 kills. The Lady Mules battle for a regional title on Thursday when they take on Mount Carmel at Hamilton County. Mount Carmel knocked off host Hamilton County 25-21, 25-21.

At the 2A Lawrenceville Regional, Carmi-White County knocked off Toledo Cumberland 25-9, 25-12. Newton knocked off Robinson 25-22, 25-22.

In 1A Regional Action at Wayne City, Edwards County knocked off host Wayne City 25-20, 25-16. Edwards County will face Cisne as Cisne knocked off Grayville 25-20, 25-17.

In other area team action, Nokomis knocked off Sandoval 25-4, 25-6. Christ Out Rock Lutheran defeated Mount Olive 25-17, 25-21. Hutsonville/Palestine knocked off Red Hill 25-6, 25-16. Pinkneyville knocked off Benton 25-14, 25-19. Herrin defeated Centralia 25-15, 25-22. Salem knocked off Triad 17-25, 25-21, 25-22. Richland County fell to Civic Memorial 27-29, 25-20, 25-17.
