The Illinois State Police have released some new details on the murder investigation in Olney. Officials say the investigation is ongoing.
In a release just before 10 Wednesday Morning, Illinois State Police have officially released the identity of the victim, 33-year-old Nicole Pedigo of Olney. Police say the event took place Sunday in the 2400 block of E. Main Street in Olney.
Further in the Illinois State Police statement, they say, “It is believed there are no safety concerns to the community regarding this incident. To protect the integrity of the investigation, no further information is being released at this time.”
