(Chicago, IL) — Governor J.B. Pritzker has announced the launch of a new quantum research initiative he says will improve in energy and manufacturing. The plan would develop technology solutions for fraud detection and drug discovery. The Bloch Tech Hub in Chicago submitted the idea while applying for federal funding through the U.S. Economic Development Administration. With this initiative, Pritzker says Illinois is ready to lead the world in quantum research and innovation.
