(Undated) – Gas prices are climbing and are expected to go higher. According to GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.70 a gallon, up four cents from a week ago. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.94 a gallon, a nickel lower than last Friday. In Indiana, the statewide average is seven cents higher than a week ago at $3.70 a gallon. Industry experts are keeping an eye on oil prices after they surged three dollars a barrel overnight before easing a bit, following Israel’s attack on Iran. Concerns over the potential disruption of Middle East oil was behind the jump.
