(Undated) – Wayne County mobile homeowners should soon be receiving their Mobile Home property tax bills. Wayne County Treasurer, Yvette Anderson, says the 2024 Mobile Home property tax bills were sent out last Thursday. She reminds taxpayers that the due date for the 2024 mobile home taxes is July 1st. Payments made after July 1st are subject to a late payment fee of $25 per month, up to a maximum penalty of $100. If you own a mobile home and did not receive a tax bill, you are asked to contact the Wayne County Treasurer’s office at 618-842-5087. Anderson says various payment options are available, including by mail or in person at 301 E Main Street, Suite 201, Fairfield, or a payment may be placed in the drop box on the West side of the courthouse. The Wayne County Treasurer’s office is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
