(Albion) – An Albion man was sentenced to time in the IDOC during a recent Edwards County court appearance. According to Edwards County State’s Attorney, Eric St Ledger, forty-eight-year-old Eric VanMatre was sentenced to a total of six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by one year of Mandatory Supervised Release on the Class 2 Felony charge of Unlawful Use of Property.
