Crossville Man Sentenced

Alfred E. Duvall, 64, from Crossville, Illinois, was sentenced on May 3, 2024, to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. Following his incarceration, he will undergo six months of Mandatory Supervised Release (previously known as parole). This sentence was given for failing to register as a sex offender, a Class 3 Felony, under Edwards County Case No. 2022-CF-27. The case was prosecuted by Edwards County State’s Attorney Eric A. St Ledger, and Mr. Duvall was defended by Public Defender Brian Shinkle.
