A trial date of September 16th has been scheduled for Jeremy Tucker, a 47-year-old Fairfield resident, who stands accused of causing a fatal accident while allegedly under the influence of methamphetamine. The incident, which occurred last June near the Fairfield Gun Club, resulted in the tragic loss of 15-year-old R.E. Carter from Fairfield.
Tucker faces charges including drunk driving/drugs causing death and DUI/Meth in connection with the crash. Subpoenas have been issued to witnesses expected to testify during his trial. It’s worth noting that Tucker was already out on bond for a prior felony charge of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine at the time of the June 5th accident.
