93-year-old Albion resident, Donald E. Doty died at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 25 in Grayville. He had served as a Postmaster. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he had served as an American Legion Post Commander, VFW Quartermaster and Chaplain.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Doty of Albion; two sons, Greg Doty of Albion and Bradley and wife Lisa Doty of Arlington Heights, Ill; a daughter, Susan Doty of Olney and two grandchildren, William and Edward Doty.
Funeral services for Donald E. Doty will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 30 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion with burial in Graceland Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30 until the time of service at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion.
Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Church and will be accepted at Nale’s Funeral Home in Albion.
