95 year-old Doris J. Anderson of McLeansboro, died on Thursday, August 30 at 9:48 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in McLeansboro. She was a homemaker and worked for several years for Deister, Ward & Wichter as an Abstractor. Doris was a member of the First Baptist Church in McLeansboro, and was a member of the Hamilton Memorial Hospital Auxillary.
Survivors include a brother: J.D. Tyler of McLeansboro. Five nieces: Marti Martin & husband Don of Midlothian, Texas, Kimberly (Tyler) Tremmel & husband Ron of Trenton, Illinois, Pat Lee & husband Doyle of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, Terry Kikendall & husband Dan of Ocala, Florida and Janet Mitchell of Valmeir, Illinois. Two nephews: C.B. Martin & wife Sharon of Bluford and Andy Bethel of O’Fallon, Illinois.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 4 at Oddfellow Cemetery in McLeansboro with the Rev. Mark Byars officiating. Burial will be held in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in McLeansboro.
Memorials may be made to Residential Hospice or to the Alzheimers Association and will be accepted at the Harre Funeral Home.
